He earned his master's and doctoral degrees from Alexandria University in Egypt, specializing in literary criticism in the Middle Ages.</p><p>Since 2010, he has been involved in teaching Arabic as a second language. He has previously held positions as a lecturer at the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor, the University of Texas at Austin, a visiting lecturer at Michigan State University, and at the University of Pittsburgh. In the Arab world, Amr has served as a lecturer at Alexandria University in Egypt, the Doha Institute for Graduate Studies in Qatar, and the Summer Program at Al-Akhawayn University in Morocco. Additionally, he conducted research for the UAE Ministry of Culture. Amr has also contributed as a content developer for the Arabic Flagship Program and worked as a tester and rater for several years with Language Testing International (LTI), the exclusive licensee of ACTFL.</p><p>Amr Madi will be in conversation with Nader Uthman,&nbsp;Senior Preceptor in Arabic and&nbsp;Director of the Modern Language Programs at&nbsp;NELC,&nbsp;Harvard University</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>THIS TALK WILL BE IN ARABIC</strong></p><p>This event will be held in person.</p><p>Admission Free</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p>
